BECA's children

Pati is new to our program and new to Cofradia. She and her mother recently moved to Cofradia from Copan. Pati is actually in school for the first time in her life, at age ten, and she is eager to learn as much as she can as fast as she can.

Pati is especially enthusiastic about learning English and has demonstrated tremendous independence and motivation in the classroom; remarkable skills for a young woman who has never experienced the discipline of a classroom environment before!
